Bab 180: Chaotic Energy.

Li Jun awoke to the faint smell of lavender, he felt Shen Yun's hair against his cheek as he silently rose to sit up. He wasn't sure when he fell asleep. The last thing he remembered was laying beside her and holding hands. He must have drifted off in the comfort of being close to her.

His stomach fluttered slightly as he recalled their kiss. It wasn't the kind of thing that he had planned. He acted purely out of instinct. He found that coming to the sect and gaining the freedom he had always wanted allowed him to grow and learn to be the kind of man he wanted to be. 

He no longer felt that he was trying to follow in his father's footsteps. He had his own destiny to live up to. He had become something that even his father hadn't. The disciple of one of the greatest sects in the country. A general in the military felt like a minor position in comparison.
