Bab 168: I guess I've grown.

Li Jun took a breath, or at least he tried. There was no air in the darkness. He tried to inhale, but his lungs refused to inflate. He tried to exhale the remaining air he had left, yet it was as if his mouth and nose were blocked by an invisible force.

He tried to yell but no words escaped his lips, he was alone in the dark with only his thoughts to keep him company. 

'I need air.' He thought, The darkness was suffocating. 

'Xun! I need air!' He screamed internally, hoping that the cat would hear his thoughts the same way he heard Xun's.

A flash of blinding light hit him as he burst out from the darkness. He felt Xun's soft fur as the large cat sprinted through the dim corridor. Li Jun took a deep breath and filled his lungs. 

'I heard you! Master, I heard your voice!' Xun exclaimed telepathically; it seemed that he wasn't the only one who had learned a new skill.
