Bab 50: Did she just?

Li Jun placed Shen Yun down on the other side of the pile of corpses; he held her hand and guided her away from them until they were out of sight before she finally stopped shaking.

Master Shen remained silent until they reached the top of the hill, at which point he instructed the two of them to sit down and listen to him.

"Well done. What you both just did was something not many people can do. In fact, out of all the martial artists out there, only around ten percent of them have what it takes to stare at death without running away." He spoke gently. He knew firsthand how brutal the path of martial arts was. 

"Just know that I didn't plan for you to witness that kind of scene. However, it will act as a reminder to both of you that no matter what, you shouldn't provoke someone you don't have the strength to fight against. You are my precious students, and I don't want either of you to find yourselves in a situation like you just saw."
