She would not reveal why she clutches onto the necklace, and investigations with other defector witches shows that the necklace has no peculiarities about it.

In finding out whether she is a witch spy or not, we were forced to use extreme means but the witch didn't budge. We are resolved to think that she truly isn't a witch spy, and this, Marenda Itah has been cleared under the name Defector Witch 555.
