"Thalia didn't make it past the second test. I checked."
It was resumption day, and Kaelan had wasted no time to locate Vinn who was clearly in a sour mood.
"Oh she didn't." Vinn muttered more to herself than to Kaelan. It wasn't that she didn't know how to react to the piece of information which, frankly speaking, had nothing to do with her. It was that she couldn't muster it in her to summon a reaction.
"Mmm," Kaelan was now munching loudly on something, which was comical seeing as the seventy newly admitted students were currently gathered in the great hall awaiting the address of the Primarch while trying to maintain a prim and proper behaviour. Something that Kaelan clearly didn't care about.
