Bab 145: Third Fusion of the Cursed Spear!

"I'm telling the truth!" the young sailor, Silver, protested, overhearing their conversation. "I was thrown into a cave by that undead monster. Cold and starving, my leg froze off! I managed to escape when the Skeleton Knight was away. I dragged myself out of the Undead Mountains and was finally rescued by a passing caravan. That undead was a devil!"

Jason listened intently to Silver's tale, the sincerity in the young sailor's voice contrasting sharply with Billy's amusement. The story of survival against such odds, and the mention of the Undead Mountains, intrigued him deeply.

Billy and several other sailors laughed heartily. "Rest easy, kid. The Adventurer's Guild has cleared out all the undead from the Undead Mountains."

The one-legged sailor, Silver, shook his head. "Other monsters might be gone, but the Skeleton Knight could still be out there. It acts like a living being..."
