Bab 268: Companions

The cave entrance checkpoint was completely free, no fights going on and no one trying to bottleneck others at it for the moment. We'd ended up entering a quarter-hour after the checkpoint opened, so we didn't even run into anyone fighting inside the caves for quite a while. When we did come across cultivators, or more often magical beasts, the Shadow Boxer made use of the dark environment to make short work of them. 

Compared to my last participation, we seemed to take almost no time to get as far as I'd done before—first one vertical shaft, then the second, then even the third in less than two days. According to Du Wuhan, there was only one more such shaft to climb before the fourth checkpoint. 

By the time we reached this final climb, I had to conclude that everyone else who made it this far was actively staying clear of us. "Just how unbeatable are you in the darkness?" I had to ask. "I'm guessing your Hundred Shadow Fists isn't your only powerful technique."
