Bab 163: Running To the Desert

Could Sarah really have come here? I dunno…he seemed too nice to be in our world, but if anything, that'd be an argument against him belonging more in this one. It's every bit as mean as our old world, it's only that because of how we got here, we were placed among those who don't have their opportunities as utterly suppressed. Even a mediocre cultivator can have a good life, if they get a little lucky, keep their head down, and take some occasional humiliation on the chin.

The real underclass is the mortals—the people here in the Mortal Heaven who can't even become cultivators. All I have is hearsay from Academy lessons and such things, but it sounds like other cultivators barely care if they get slaughtered.
