We started with the normal stationary targets, in increments of 100 meters. I nearly missed the 500 meter shot—I'd gotten more used to only attempting shots at that sort of distance with the Lamentation Bow which shot arrows at such speed that gravity had much less effect on them at that distance, but it stuck solidly in the bottom of the bulls-eye.
