"Qinniang is awake, come, it's time to eat."

He took out a box full of rice and a spoon from his backpack, originally prepared for himself. But now that he had gained a younger sister, he naturally gave it to her instead.

"Brother, you eat, I'm not hungry."

Little Qinniang pursed her dry, cracked lips and turned away.

He didn't say a word; he simply used the spoon to transfer the pot's mishmash rice into the metal box, spoonful by spoonful. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Little Qinniang just standing there blankly. She didn't turn to watch his movements but instead looked away into the distance.

On the surface, she seemed indifferent, but her slightly quivering little nose revealed her inner craving for the food.

With a gentle smile, her kindness sincerely touched him. Putting aside that she was now his sister, even if she was a stranger, he would still feel a natural sense of compassion.
