Axel's lips curved into a slow, teasing smile. "I never thought I'd see the day when you'd beg me, Lila."

Axel's face hardened, his eyes filled with worry. "I'm on my way." He turned to Lila, his expression softening briefly. "Stay here, Lila. I'll be back as soon as I can."
Lila watched as Axel followed the guard out of the room, the door closing behind him with a heavy thud. She sat there, the remnants of their intimate moment overshadowed by the sudden urgency. She wrapped her arms around herself, a chill settling over her as she waited, her thoughts filled with concern for Axel and the Emperor's condition.
