—GASTON'S POV—

Gaston didn't like the Prince of the Oduwaye Empire.

He smiled too much, joked too much and touched his king too much.

And he wasn't jealous, not in any way! Sure, seeing the way King Ísar's eyes lit up at the mere sight of the foreign prince made Gaston want to tell the foreigner to leave but that wasn't jealousy! Prince Oduwaye was distracting the king.

Their near death experience together may have brought the King closer to Gaston, but it felt like he was losing and he didn't understand such a feeling. Gaston never lost.

The memory of the way the King had all but forgotten his existence when the foreign prince had appeared did make his chest ache but that was probably due to his ribs still hurting. Nothing more.

Another reason he didn't like the Southern Prince was the ridiculous nicknames he called everyone, Gaston included.
