Bab 29: A Visit From the South

The kingdom was on edge yet again. News of the near death of their new king spread far and wide, especially within the capital. Rumors of dark forces at play were mixed in as well, many going back to the bad omen that was the massacre of the royal family. The Grand Duke as well, known for resembling a specter, being brought back into the palace did not help with those rumors.

The Louis Barony had also been mixed in with these talks as well, though with a brighter spin. News of the young lord's brave efforts in saving the young king were being told by many. Some bards had even created songs in honor of the boy, the reward gifted to them by King Ísar adding fuel to the flames.

He'd gone as far as to gift them the title of Viscount, expanding their territory. Plus with the added law that allowed commoners to join the ranks of the knights, there was much buzzing within the kingdom of Ogronevia.
