Bab 174: Minutes 'till hour 0

 Knight Leo knew the time had come. Of course, he wasn't the only one.

The man turned, and his gaze met Sebastian's for a second.

Knight Leo, Miles, Sebastian, and Mayor Reed met the day before the battle, when most of the Giant's bolt had been made, and Miles had already completed all the mana circuits.

They came together to talk about what they had to do once the Venomshrike Horror arrived in Plerg, and think about all the possible things they could do in different scenarios.

The knight gave a brief nod, which Sebastian mirrored. The two knew what it meant. There was no time for words.

The group gave a precious role to Sebastian, and he understood it was time to do his part.

The Giant's Bolt wasn't a trophy for the Venomshrike Horror to admire.

Someone had to man it and kill the beast, and the man chosen for this task was Sebastian, or rather, Raigos.
