Taren seized the opportunity and retreated. He recovered his bow from the ground and started pelting the monster with arrows.

"It's a tier-2!" Taren didn't know who said that, but the shout was heard by everyone.

The thing thrashed and swung its claws at anyone close, pushing Taren to dodge and weave. He was trying to gain distance, but couldn't.

The creature seemed stuck on chasing the young archer, as if he was a juicy worm, or a vase full of honey.

"This thing covered 50 meters in less than a second!" That was how fast the tier 2 fanged was.
