Bab 229: Unexpected

"You didn't have to do any of that." I mumbled underneath my breath, biting on my bottom lip as I dabbed at the bruises scattered around his knuckles. Blaze only snorted while his other fingers combed through my hair.

I was currently sitting on the counter in the restroom, and Blaze was standing between my legs while I clean up his wound. I didn't like that he was unnecessarily hurt right now when he could have easily avoided the fight, although I knew he only did it because of me, and that made me feel guilty.

If I wasn't in his life, his life would be peaceful with no drama coming up every few days like if has always been doing since I appeared in his life. I've never mentioned this before because I knew he was gonna instantly object and assure me that it wasn't the case at all, but I had a functioning brain so I knew it was most definitely the case.
