Bab 219: Worried

Jules' pov 

      My mouth fell open, my heart dropping into my stomach in the next moment as the threat registered within me.

"What?" I whispered, suddenly feeling weak and dizzy. Andrian noticed and held out a drink to me, proving that he was definitely sick in the head.

"Relax, I'm not gonna hurt the kid." He began, the side of his lips twitching in amusement and I felt my knees wobble a little while my heart pounded against my ribs.

"Please don't hurt him, I beg of you." I cried out desperately, mind racing and he waved me off.

"I won't hurt him, I give you my word… but only if you agree to work with me. If you don't, then all bets are off." He explained and I had to breathe through my mouth lest I pass out.
