Bab 171: New Confirmations

Jules' pov 

       When Blaze plunged the knife into the man's heart, I felt my heart drop into my stomach. The man struggled and screamed, blood leaked from his mouth and he began to choke before finally crumbing on the ground, clearly dead.

It took a few moments for realization to slowly dawn on me.

I had just witness murder this close. I didn't just witness it, a part of my mind reminded me.

Blaze gave me lessons as he did it.

When Blaze faced me, he was breathing hard. Blood was over his hands and his shirt. He threw his head back and laughed, shoulders shaking a little. When he combed his bloody fingers through his hair, I realized there and there that my mate wasn't actually called a deranged alpha prince for nothing.

I didn't realize I was trembling a little until Blaze was in front of me, bloody finger tilting my chin up.
