Bab 44: The Morning After

Jules' pov

When I blinked my eyes open, the first thing that registered with me, was that I was actually alive.

I didn't died over night like I had been feared. I had actually survived the night!

The second thought that registered with me, was that a large hand was wrapped around my waist, and in the next moment, I stiffened and sucked in a deep breath as the entire encounter from last night rushed into my mind.

I glanced down at the arm around my waist, heart stuttering in my chest at how large his hand looked down there.

I still found it hard to believe that Blaze hadn't done anything to me. I found it very hard to believe that I had actually survived the night.

He hadn't done a thing to me like I had feared… well, aside the small bite he gave me last night before I fell asleep.
