Bab 82: A sweet slap in the face

"What? So you can be here but I can't?" Alix responded. 

She had been expecting Lin Billi because madam Qian had mentioned it. Apparently it was not the same for Lin Billi because she was obviously surprised to see her. 

Had madam Qian forgotten to mention this detail to Billi deliberately or it simply skipped her mind? 

Alix had a smug look on her face, daring Billi to say more so that she could blast her even more. 

"You can't be here." Billi blurted out.

Alix sneered and scoffed. "Why? Does your father own this gallery?" she responded with sarcasm heavy in her voice. 

Billi raised her right hand and pointed her index finger at Alix. Was Alix crazy? She was speaking as if they had different fathers. 

Alix stepped aside and smiled coquettishly at Lin Billi.
