Early in the morning, Ryo was sitting in the chair in front of his desk, with numerous papers each containing different symbols written on them, and each with a description of what the symbol represented.
"We have quite a few symbols, but the basic scrolls show symbols of the basic elements, and of space, even though that one is more complicated, it's still not advanced; it's just the hardest of the easy ones. But now comes the tense part: I have to be able to write each one of them perfectly."
He wasn't going to buy scrolls yet, as he needed to make sure he could use the scrolls without wasting it. His goal wasn't to become a master in fuinjutsu, but rather to use it as a means to earn money before finishing ninja academy, and for that purpose, what he had at his disposal was already sufficient.
In the following weeks, Ryo continued training with Sae, and when he returned home, he had an hour to practice writing the symbols. He found that he could write the symbols for earth and wind better, but he was almost able to master the space symbol.
One day, Ryo took a piece of paper in his hand with some symbols written on it.
"I can already write most of them perfectly, but putting them on a scroll effectively is more complicated; the letters have to be smaller, a sealing scroll had a few characters, approximately 10, and they all have to be written in order and in a small size."
With a sigh, he looked at the spatial sealing symbol written in front of him. It wasn't a functional seal, but if placed on a scroll with chakra ink, it would probably work.
Getting up, Ryo grabbed ink and parchment from a drawer he had bought a few days ago. Of course, using the transformation jutsu, as he had almost mastered that along with the Shunshin, he did all this quickly.
"I bought three scrolls and a kit of ink that should last longer. It cost me 530 ryous, but if I can make three sealing scrolls, I'll get more than five times that."
He began writing the seal on the scroll while infusing his chakra with the ink. The scroll began to form, and stroke by stroke, the seals appeared. Everything had to be done with great calm and precision; he had no margin for errors. Everything went well, and the first storage scroll was made. Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Ryo opened the scroll and placed an empty pot on it, then the pot disappeared.
"Yes! I managed to make the scroll work. But the space inside it isn't very large yet; it's one meter on both sides, a perfect square. It's not bad, but it's not the best either. I had to make more inscriptions than the ones sold in better ninja markets, but the less demanding ones will still want it."
-- Alright, let's move on to the next one! --
Continuing to the next blank scroll he had, he began writing on it just as before. Ryo was able to make the scroll once again, feeling like he was getting the hang of it.
"Of course, no child could do this at 6 years old, after all, I still have my memories from the other world, and fuinjutsu is similar to programming, but in a more archaic and crude way."
It was almost noon, and Ryo had 30 minutes left to finish the last scroll. He knew he could finish it in time.
"With this, I'll be able to get ryous exponentially! And I won't have to worry much more. Of course, getting caught doing this could give me a problem with the Anbu, but I just have to be more careful... Iruka could be a good help in this."
As he only had two symbols left, Ryo was running out of time, as he had classes at the academy in the afternoon.
"Just a little more."
He was focused, extremely focused as he wrote, not being the best at it, he had to pay a lot of attention. And in the last strokes, delicately tracing each one, several loud knocks were heard on his door, totally breaking his focus and making the brush rise, scratching all the paint on the scroll. Along with the knocks, an excited voice followed, continuing to knock on the door.
- Hey, hey, Ryo, let's go to the academy together today, hey hey, Ryo, let's go Dattebayo! -
Ryo almost broke the brush he had in his hand as he got up, throwing the ruined scroll into a dark corner of the room. He opened the door with a face of anger while giving Naruto a little knock on the head from above.
-- Naruto! Don't knock on my door like that anymore, I almost died just now! --
He spoke with a serious tone and then sighed, looking at Naruto.
-- Alright, let's go. It's okay. --
He said this, leaving the house and closing the door. He could hear Naruto complaining in the background about the punch not being that strong.
- But I wanted to go with you today, Ryo... -
-- Yeah, it's been a while since we went together. I've been busy training and learning some new things. --
- New things?! -
Naruto asked, his eyes shining as he looked at Ryo, who smiled slightly and then used the Shunshin no jutsu to appear in the middle of the street, speaking from afar while Naruto looked around with a confused face.
"Let's go, Naruto!"
Once he said that, Naruto followed Ryo's voice, then seeing where he was, Naruto shouted a few times and then jumped behind, running. -
Hey, hey, hey, teach me that too, Ryo!. -
-- It's in the library, haven't you been there yet? We can get the E and D rank jutsus to learn... Wait, you haven't been there at all yet? --
Ryo looked at Naruto a little incredulously. "Wasn't it Naruto who sneaked in there and somehow stole the forbidden scroll to learn the Shadow Clone Jutsu?"
Naruto sighed lazily as he spoke. - Nah! The library is boring, and Iruka is already teaching us transformation jutsu and clones. -
Hearing this, Ryo looked Naruto in the eyes. "You have to learn the Shunshin, you can't be a ninja without knowing it! The sooner, the better."
- Ah, then teach me, Ryo, you already seem to know how to do it well, Dattebayo! -
Ryo agreed with that; he would still think of some day to teach Naruto since he seemed to be a lost cause.
"How did he survive the first years in the academy like this?! Iruka must have had a hard time with Naruto; I couldn't imagine before."
With that in mind, Ryo arranged to train with Naruto in the forest in the morning since he hadn't been able to train much with Sae lately. She always seemed busy after that day. Ryo made sure to ensure that he would wake his friend up and take him even if he had to drag him to train. He had a mischievous smile on his face as he thought,
"I'm going to make you master this ninjutsu quickly, Naruto; you'll have to pay me somehow for the ruined scroll!"
Naruto felt a chill at all of this, and in the end, each went to their respective homes, as it was already night when they returned from the academy. Ryo was going to rest quite a bit because the next days were going to be intense, especially with the end-of-month exams approaching; they still had a week and a half.
The next day, he woke up at 4 a.m., getting ready by 4:30, and then appearing in front of Naruto's door while giving strong knocks on it. -- Come on, Naruto, wake up, it's time. --
That gave Ryo a slight satisfaction, a feeling that he had been avenged, but there was still much more to come. Naruto took a few minutes to open the door; he had a sleepy face, but he had managed to wake up and get dressed, and now the training began !.
Hi, author here, for anyone reading, if you have any constructive criticism or questions, you can ask them in the comments. I intend to respond to everyone, of course Spoiles I will leave to a minimum. Since Ryo is changing things without realizing in the main plot.
and if you have some idea about my story. Comment it and let me know.
