Bab 279: What a woman

Thud!

Hearing this sudden thud made Fil shift her eyes to the sound. She barely laid her eyes on Vincent, who was viciously knocked out when a cloth covered her mouth and nose. 

"Mhmp!" Fil let out a yell on instinct, but her voice sounded muffled. She instinctively held her breath, knowing whatever was on the cloth could knock her unconscious. 

She couldn't just let that happen. 

Keeping an alert mind, Fil gripped the person's arm tightly. She slipped her feet behind him, kicking it away to make him lose his balance. When he did, she hunched and threw him off of her. 

"Urgh!" the man winced as his body landed on the floor. 

"You!" the other man — the person who knocked Vincent out — took a large step and reached out to her. Fil quickly twisted her arm around his and launched a kick.
