Bab 40: A goodbye soviener

Christina stood, lost in thought, in front of the bathroom mirror in Reylan's room. They had agreed to share the same room and Darren, ever so meticulous, had moved all her belongings at his master's command before their arrival. This forced room-sharing felt like karma was settling scores! No, it was her husband who would ensure she paid for her earlier pranks. 

"Ah, I should have never agreed!" Christina muttered, ruffling her hair in frustration. It was all Beatrix's fault! Had she not clung to him like a leech, Christina would be blissfully asleep in her own room by now. "Maybe I should just pretend to be asleep here!" She murmured, facing the large tub that looked comfortable enough to rest. If she did, her humble husband might just amuse himself by turning on the faucet and watching her drown to death.
