It was supposed to be a day filled with love and laughter, a celebration for Christina, but that single text turned it into a walking nightmare. At first, she dismissed it as another attempt made by some vengeful snake to sabotage their seemingly perfect relationship. But the explicit image that popped up after the message threw her into a pit of doubts and despair.

Christina foolishly refused to believe it and bolted into the chilly night in search of the bar, hoping it was a scam or maybe a twisted prank her boyfriend had planned for a surprise birthday bash. But as she reached the location, the live, uncensored scene shattered all her delusions.

There he was, her treasured boyfriend, cuddling with the same woman from the picture. They lounged on a corner sofa on the club's private floor, laughing and flirting, so engrossed that they couldn't even notice her standing just a few inches away from their table. Their intimacy crushed her hopeful heart, and hot tears stung her eyes, mercilessly mocking her for being blind to this dirtbag's deceit all along.

So, she was his friend! Christina thought, an icy numbness replacing her dried tears as the woman on his lap pouted, fiddling with the buttons on his shirt, as if upset about something.

"My girlfriend? Ahh, don't bring that stupid's name. She is a doormat; flat in all angles, hahaha."

"All she has is skin and bones." Derek continued, carried away by the heavy alcohol, his fingers tracing the lines of his new lover's visible bra. "And there is nothing left to see in her, unlike your…" He leaned closer, finishing the sentence in the woman's ear, making her blush and lightly hit his chest.

His every word was like a dagger that dug deeper into Christina's already bleeding heart. She clenched her fist, ready to punch his face in gratitude for finally showing his true colors. But she held herself back as he started spewing shit again, fueling her growing rage to castrate him right here!

"And you know what?" Derek mumbled, leaning even closer. "She can never hit a second round." He whispered with a snicker.

"What?!" The woman gasped as if she had heard something horrendous. "But, why?" She innocently asked, blinking her not-so-innocent eyes.

Their interaction not only made Christina clench her fist harder, the pressure causing her knuckles to turn ghostly white, but it also attracted the crowd around them. They turned toward the couple, eager to get a taste of the brewing gossip.

"Maybe something is wrong with her body."

Christina scoffed in disdain, having heard enough of his nonsense. Just because he was drunken doesn't give him the right to strip off her dignity. In front of a bunch of strangers!

"Really?" She asked stepping into the light, and crossed her arms. The couple looked at her in horror, and the woman quickly got off Derek's lap.

"Tina?" Derek slurred, attempting to approach her, but Christina took a step back, disgusted to even stand close to him.

"Princess, this isn't what you think. I was coming home but-"

Seizing a beer glass from a passing waitress, Christina interrupted his nonsense by throwing the cold liquid on his face.

The crowd went in an uproar, murmurs filling the room as the beer hit hard against Derek's face, his eyes stinging at the sudden, unexpected attack.

"We are done! Don't you dare come begging after you sober up." Christina declared placing back the glass on the shocked waitress's tray, and turned around to leave.

Just when the crowd settled back, enjoying yet another breakup tonight, a common spectacle in this scandalous club, Christina paused midway realizing she had missed thanking another person. Reaching into her sling, she took out a few bills and walked back to the couple piquing everyone's attention again.

"You know what, sweetheart?" Forcefully thrusting the money into the woman's hand, Christina continued, "Do yourself a favor and get a toy. You will understand why I never bothered to have a second round with him."

Her cold eyes swept across Derek's pants with a kind of appall before gazing at the woman again with a pitiful smile. Patting her shoulder, Christina turned on her heels, leaving the whole room in an uproar. It also caught the attention of a bored vampire in the shadows, searching for prey.

"Interesting." Reylan mused with a smirk, his eyes glinting red in amusement.

Emerging from the shadows of the hallway, he leaned against the wall and crossed his arms to observe the impressive woman. Her boldness had not only intrigued him but also many other creatures in this room, fueling their hunger and lust. But too bad for them, he had already set his eyes on her and she was his tonight.
