Bab 90: Do You Mind? (pt.4)

"I'm back now, Cerberus. You may rest."

Cerberus blinked. Something inside it was softly tickled. 

"Have you ever thought about it?"

A scene from its memories replayed in its head as it looked at the twisted, blurred face of its old master. 

Their past together. 

Cerberus was a little puppy playing around in a field of fire. Various colors of flames were caressing its small body while it barked and growled in joy. 

A young man entered the field. 

The heat from the flame slapped him directly, forcing him to take a few steps back before using his mana to coat his body with a thin layer of blue. 

"Aish. I don't know if I should be in this place or not anymore. This feels so weird."

The young man softly complained while looking around him, the place was beautiful but empty. Nothing but wisps of flames were trying to lick him, but thankfully he was using his mana now.
