The First Blade's eyes lingered on Lassim with a sharp, wary edge, his presence heavy with questions that now filled the air.
The progenitor marks began to fade and recede back down his face and hidden away under his martial robes as Lassim stopped circulating the void energy. His eyes went back to the normal violet with lightning bolts occasionally jutting out.
From the First Blade's perspective, Lassim just slashed an attack towards a random spot on the air behind the portal and it collapsed in on itself.
The way Lassim had closed the portal, the ease with which he managed it—it was far from normal.
Even for someone as blessed by the gods as him, he believe it was something that shouldn't have been possible for anyone—except for possibly those legendary Demi-gods.
HUGE thank you to Casey_Vargas for the Golden Ticket! You rock and these really help my book get promoted!
Also, thanks to the powerstone voters Casey_Vargas, Continuum, Jhun_Valera, raawwr_chibi, Mathew23, evernightluv, and Shuping_Tong. You’re all amazing for the continued and constant support and I’m so thankful to see your names everyday!
WOW! Mercy made a short appearance once more! Thanks again to Continuum for the original inspiration of this character: sorry I killed him off! Yeah, it’s only been a few years but we can’t expect normal cultivators to match Lassim’s speed. he’s come a long way since we met Mercy in chapter 91! He was a lot less intimating this time, as he should be. I’m glad Lassim got to resolve this. The Dragal are still the big bads, but I wonder how the Abyssal Cult will react to so many deaths of high end figures recently? The Sun Sect leader and the much lower ranked Mercy. We shall see some day I’m sure!
