Aeon intentionally lets Warthron spare the last Orc Soldier despite knowing the consequences.

In fact, it was well within his plans and the fastest way to complete the Optional Trial.

Hence, Aeon was hoping to get some good items from the offerings he made to the Grimoire of Life and Death.
