Bab 181: Quest for Leora sister part 1

The morning light streamed through the curtains, casting a warm, golden glow across the room and gently nudging me awake. I blinked a few times, letting my eyes adjust to the soft light, and turned my head to the side.

There she was, Leora, still peacefully asleep beside me. Her chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm, and a few stray locks of her auburn hair had fallen across her face. I carefully brushed them aside, not wanting to disturb her slumber, but unable to resist the urge to see her serene expression fully.

Leora's face was a picture of calm, her lips slightly parted, and a faint, almost imperceptible smile playing on them. In sleep, she looked so carefree, a stark contrast to the worry that often clouded her eyes when she was awake.

I couldn't help but smile softly at the sight, my heart swelling with affection. There was something indescribably comforting about watching her like this, as if all was right with the world.
