Bab 53: Semi Final

Rodion Elder stood there with his short, gelled hair and a physique that resembled that of a professional swimmer—long torso and far-reaching limbs.

But it was his smile that got something turning in my guts—a hideous grin that screamed of pride and egoism, unfounded pride at that.

This guy was a bully in my other reality. He beat up a few guys and even a girl or two, but he was always fine after that and never held accountable because of who his parents were. 

His mother was the school director, and his father, a lawyer. And now, this was the guy I was supposed to fight?

Oh, I was going to have fun with this.

"Hey! Gray!" 

I heard a familiar voice.

I turned to see Ashley and Ruby standing behind the security line, waving enthusiastically.

"Hey, Ashley, Ruby!" I called back, as I made my way over to them. "Glad you could make it."

Ashley flashed me a bright smile, "We promised," she said.
