Slowly, I sat down on the edge of the bed, my gaze fixed on my reflection. My face flickered between a broad grin and an unexpected pang of grief.
A massive headache hit me like a speeding train.
What an absolute mindfuck!
I lay down on the bed for a moment, trying to compose myself.
The memories of this version of me came flooding back, and I didn't know if I liked it or not.
But a lot of it made sense. It did.
But was it the right thing to do?
Questions began popping up left and right.
How did Emily hide it so well?
How was she able to keep it to herself?
I recalled a moment when she spoke in a strange way, but beyond that, there were no obvious signs.
In a flash, I grabbed my phone and hopped into my conversation with Emily.
It was time to tell her that I remembered. I remembered everything!
