"Dad, what's happening?" Bry's joyous exploration of the penthouse was abruptly halted as he returned to find his father in tears, on the verge of kneeling before Zhane. Alarmed, he feared the worst and rushed to his father's side, casting Zhane a fierce glare.

Observing his son's misunderstanding, Bry's father administered a gentle smack to his head. "Don't be disrespectful. Dr. Everett will be your uncle's attending physician from now on," he clarified sternly.

Bry, still rubbing his aching head, halted almost instantly upon hearing his father's words. He was well aware of the responsibilities of an attending physician. Gasping in shock, he quickly apologized for his behavior, eager not to offend Zhane. "I'm sorry, Doctor!" Bry exclaimed, bowing respectfully to demonstrate his genuine remorse for his earlier actions.
