Bab 59: The Living Forest

Maya then spread her hands, stretching the transparent sphere to cover more of the trees and vines, then clapped her hands together. The sphere exploded, blasting away most of the creatures in mere seconds.

Ayaka, her body coursing with lightning, held her staff high towards the sky. The orb at the top of her staff glowed with purple energy as dark clouds began to gather above. She called out, "‹SKY LIGHTNING CLAW›!"

Thunder roared, and a giant purple claw made of lightning descended from inside those clouds, blasting and shredding the monsters to pieces instantly.

She then directed her staff towards the remaining living trees that Lucien's spell had failed to destroy. The purple claw moved with precision, decimating all of them in a single strike.

The trio stood amidst the wreckage of the forest creatures, their alertness at its peak. The forest, now silent, seemed to hold its breath, waiting for their next move.
