They could see him bend to kiss the tip of her nose and her forehead before tucking the strand of her hair behind her ear.

If the supreme alpha was being so affectionate towards her, didn't that mean that she was his mate? Holy heavens! That made sense and very much explained why he'd brought the human girl to the pack.
