Bab 27: Chapter 27: Pain... {Rewritten}

"Who did this?!" The anguished cry pierced the chilling evening air. A woman knelt on the ground, clutching the limp body of a child no older than thirteen. Her eyes, wild with desperation, darted around, seeking answers. "Who... did this to my son?!" 

Her voice trembled with rage, tears streaming down her cheeks as she held onto the boy's cold, lifeless hand.

The crowd gathered around her, silent. No one dared to speak, no one dared to move. All were frozen in place by the intensity of her grief.

"It... it..." stammered a young boy from the crowd. Unlike the others, he couldn't stop shaking, his knees wobbling like leaves in a storm.

"It what?" the woman bellowed, her voice rising with uncontainable fury. Her piercing gaze focused on the boy, daring him to continue.

The child swallowed hard, his voice barely above a whisper as he pointed to the distant shadows. "It... was him. That boy."
