Seeing Chi Xinru leaving in a hurry, Duan Yixin lets the maidservants help her take a bath.

Madam Chi stood on the side, wiping her tears as she watched the matchmaker help Duan Yixin shave the soft hairs on her face with two strings of threads and then put on her makeup.

After she was done, the matchmaker smiled at Madam Chi and handed her a jade comb. "Madam, it's time for you to comb the bride's hair."

Madam Chi took the jade comb from the matchmaker and stood behind Duan Yixin. While Madam Chi combed Duan Yixin's hair carefully, the matchmaker recites the blessings for the bride's new life.
