In the backyard, Chi Junheng heard his wife calling him and walked out. When Duan Yixin and Chi Xiyou walked into the front yard, Chi Xinru also walked out of her bedroom. She was relieved to see that her best friend was alright.

Duan Yixin nodded, put away the oil-paper umbrella, and stepped into the house. While Chi Xiyou handed the heavy bamboo basket to his father, he said, "Father, I will go to Xin Xin's house to move some plants."

Chi Junheng took the bamboo basket and said, "Be careful and come back as soon as possible. The village chief just came and said the situation is getting worse. We may need to go out and help them reinforce the river banks or evacuate victims."
