It wasn't fair. 

I was merely existing. Only living each day like everyone else and fighting to wear a smile through the changing seasons. But I didn't belong. Even if I made my place in a dark corner where no one needed to walk past, I would still be unwanted here. This crown did not make me a Prince. Having been adopted did not make me a true son of the Avalon family.

Just once, I wanted to put them in their place.
