Bab 157: Vargus's Surprise on Talking Auris

As Auris charged through the thickening woods, his pace as swift as the wind, Vargus and Valeria were sharply jolted from their strategizing by an unexpected sight. The air grew denser, tinged with the acrid smell of smoke and the unmistakable aura of dark magic. It was then that Vargus, squinting through the trees, spotted shadowy figures moving with sinister purpose.

"Valeria, I don't know if it's true, but aren't those demons?" Vargus asked, pointing towards the advancing figures that disrupted the natural harmony of the forest.

Hearing Vargus's observation, Valeria turned her gaze sharply to what lay in front of them. Her eyes widened in shock as she indeed saw the forms of demons, their presence was an omen of chaos. "How can this be? How can demons be here?" she exclaimed, her voice laced with disbelief and a rising edge of anger.
