So Nicolai stepped closer to her, his chest firmly pressed against her bosom. A warm sensation scattered all over his chest, as the violent thudding of her heart clashed against his.

What in the world was this woman even doing to him? Why on earth did he even want this woman when he could have gotten anyone?

Nicolai knew that if he wanted another woman, there would be several who would volunteer to be with him.

And yet, he was chasing after this woman like a besotted fool. If this woman was not a witch, then he was a possum. Maybe she was created just to fuck with him.

"You are such an agonizing terror, do you know that?" She hissed at him, her throat pulsating against his fingers and palm.
