Bab 321: Ashford Brothers (2)

Outside the ward, Keon stood there without moving. His expression was filled with distraught as he pressed his fist against his forehead. How he wished he could have saved Millie from her sufferings. 

"Mister Keon, are you alright?" Dorman asked Keon, who nodded and raised his head. He was about to say something, but then his gaze met with Emil. 

His youngest brother was more than terrified when his gaze met with Keon's. 

Keon looked at Emil, then he looked at his hospital gown. His gaze then fell on the overly large plaster on Emil's left foot, and his handsome face turned pouchy and purple. 

"Emil Ashford!" Keon shouted angrily. He launched himself to grab hold of Emil's collar, but there was no way Emil would let himself be caught without a fight.

He turned around on his feet and hobbled away.
