Valerie was disturbed the more she kept watching everything keenly from the rooftop. Her pup was continuously kicking so hard, as if he wanted to come out of the womb to complete the fight.

Valerie had previously enjoyed hard kicks, especially in the dead of the night and sometimes awoke Denzel to feel them too.

Their pup would mostly calm down the moment Denzel rested her hand on it, but this time, there was nothing to calm him.

Her endurance from the kicks, and her emotions from the ongoing war, made her afraid that she might go into labor at any point in time.

The underground rogues seemed undefeatable, and she could not watch her people die, especially when she saw what was happening to Alice.

"You all should go," she instructed the warriors Denzel left her with, but they were reluctant, 

confusion registered on their faces, but she roared further.

"Alpha says…." One of them was saying when Valerie thundered impatiently. "Now."
