"Val, you're up already?" Denzel squinted his eyes to make sure he was seeing correctly. Valerie had a smile on her face, feeling more energetic than she had in the last few days.

Denzel's gaze left her confused. She couldn't understand why he was so surprised by her increased energy.

"Are you surprised? It's just too early to go for training, so I decided to read a book. As soon as it's time, I will go with you to training," Valerie removed her gaze from the book as she spoke but kept in mind the paragraph she was reading before.
