After Alpha Denzel left the pack, Valerie dragged her tired self out of bed to the training room.

Strangely, she felt light-headed and all she wanted to do was go for another round of sleep, but it was unlike her to sleep when she had training to lead.

"Luna, are you okay? You look pale," Alice said, worried as she and Dorothy had been instructed to watch Valerie closely.

Even if she had not been told, Valerie's demeanor spoke volumes about her mood.

Dorothy sensed something was wrong through Alice's question and the way their Luna was indeed pale. It was as if her Alpha wolf had left her alone.

"Luna, Alice is right. Please let me take you back," she politely suggested, but Luna Valerie was slowly getting upset.
