Bab 248: Chapter 248 – I Want to Hear the Good News First

"Alpha, we have both good and bad news," the investigator informed him.

Alpha Denzel was not liking this. All he wanted was a surprise to make Valerie happy. What could the bad news be?

Somehow, he did not want to hear it first. "I want to hear the good news first."

The investigator excitedly revealed, "We found the old Alpha and his first daughter."

A relief sigh escaped Alpha Denzel. This was the news he was looking forward to and could not understand how there could be something bad attached to it.

"Then what is the bad news?"

"He has still not fully recovered, so Ashley has refused to leave his side," the investigator reported. Alpha Denzel could still not see it as bad news.

He thought it would be something he would not be able to handle, but this did not seem like it.

"How long would the recovery take? Which hospital are they?"
