"Break it down for me," Valerie said to Astrid, grateful that Alpha Denzel had requested something to prolong Alice's unconsciousness.

She knew Astrid was not bringing good news. Due to her connection to the ethereal realm, she seemed to be the bearer of bad news.

Astrid was speaking quickly this time, as the moon was nearing full. She needed to take her position before the transformation became impossible.

Valerie had mixed feelings. If a war broke out during her pregnancy, she would not hold back with a powerful wolf at her disposal.

This condition seemed absurd to her in order to give Alpha Denzel an heir. "What will happen if I do shift?"
