All along, he had underestimated himself, even though many people had recognized that he was not just a mere bodyguard.

However, Godic did not see it that way. Alpha Denzel had equipped him in so many ways, but his attitude towards him was as cold as it was to anyone else.

Godic did not want to have high hopes. "Alpha, I'm just a bodyguard."

Alpha Denzel chuckled, disappointed by his response, and asked keenly, "Is that what you think? Who in their right mind would leave everything to just a bodyguard?"

Godic was beginning to digest the words very quickly, but before he could conclude, Alpha Denzel asked again, "And is your salary the same as that of other bodyguards?"
