The sleep cleared from Valerie's eyes as she checked Alpha Denzel's pulse. There was still life in him, and she was excited, taking out her phone, but the battery was low.

Her hands shook a little as she took her chances and instantly dialed Alessia's number, lest the phone go off. Valerie had handled a lot of emergencies as a Luna, but Denzel's situation felt different.
