Adam wanted the beta position, so with Alessia out of the way, he would just have to prove himself to Alpha Denzel that he was the right candidate for a beta.

"Alright, take her to a safe place and send me the location," Alpha Conrad reluctantly gave in. What if those men in black were still around? He couldn't help being afraid.

"I'm close to a hotel, so I would book a room and send you the address."

"Okay. Thank you," Alpha Conrad said. With Alessia, he could have firsthand information on Alpha Denzel, so this should be a merry moment for him. Troy was uneasy, knowing that Alessia had been kidnapped. He wanted a way to play his role fast for Alpha Denzel to play his part.

"Alpha, is there a problem? Please let me come with you." He tried getting out of bed when Alpha Conrad stopped him.

"You are injured. You should rather rest."
