Bab 139: Make Amends

Enzo couldn't believe what he had just heard from Dominique. Although he didn't have a recollection of his father, he refused to believe that his father was capable of killing someone.

"Dominique, are you sure it was my father? Do you have proof? But why? I believe that my father would never do that."

"I decided to come clean, Enzo. That's why I'm telling you this. You have a reason to hate me. And I am here to reveal the reason why I betrayed your sister and your family."

Enzo stayed quiet. He needed to hear everything. 

"I didn't plan for it to turn out this way," Dominique began, his voice heavy with regret. "When I first got involved with your family, it was solely for my revenge. Simple as that."

"To get into your family… I targeted Sabrina. I approached her… acting like a hero so that I could enter her life. My goal is to acquire your family's wealth and make your father suffer… But then… things got complicated."
