Bab 24: Chapter 17 - Even gods bleed
3rd Person POV
Kiba was dodging Riser's attacks while hitting him as well. However, without anything to negate Riser's regeneration, both were at a stalemate.
Kiba continues to hit Riser and steal his lifeforce but Riser regenerates his lifeforce a second later.
Kiba knows that one wrong move and he gets hit by Riser's attacks, he'll be eliminated. So that's why he's trying his best to dodge and hold out.
-Kiba, still holding out?-
"I am, will you help me Kazumi-kun?"
"Yeah, but I want to have a one on one with him." Kazumi replied.
"Sure." Kiba who was a bit surprised with his arrival, said.
"Riser! Fight me one on one and if I lose, you can have Rias!" Kazumi boldly shouted.
-Kazumi?! What are you doing?!-
"I didn't know Rias' pawn was so dumb. But I accept, if I defeat you, then I don't have to deal with you all!" Riser was eager to accept. Who wouldn't? It's a king vs pawn battle.
"Wait, Kazumi-kun, aren't you too hasty with this decision? What if you lose?" Kiba grabbed Kazumi's shoulder.
"I'll be fine. If there's someone you should be worried about, be it him, not me. When Rias comes, tell her– actually, I'll tell her myself."
-Hold on Kazumi! I didn't agree to this!-
Rias shouted yet Kazumi acted like he didn't hear her and put up a barrier.
「Reinforced Assassin's Barrier」A barrier that hides a person. It has the ability of Silent Sanctum or is it because it is the advanced form. The barrier can also be modified to change the inside or what it shows on the outside
"You fool! You shouldn't have set up a barrier!" He then shot a Hellfire at Kazumi.
It was hot yes, but Thamuz's lava is hotter than this.
"You done?" Kazumi said as the explosion cleared up.
"HOW?!" He continued firing Hellfire at Kazumi.
"It won't work." Kazumi saw his face. He was scared.
'I wonder what face he'll make once he sees his regeneration gone.' He thought sadistically.
He slowly walked towards him. He didn't back off as he was flying. Since he wasn't coming down, Kazumi might as well come to him.
His devil wings sprouted from his back and Kazumi flew up.
"St–Stay back!" He shouted and continued to shoot hellfire. Does the Phenex's regenerative powers also heal demonic power? Cause if not, he'll definitely run out of spells.
Then, Kazumi propelled himself towards him and cut his hands.
"You should have gone for the head! I can regenerate easily!" Riser arrogantly said.
"You would thank me for not heading straight for your head. Look at your hands."
"Oh, well I thank you for– MY HANDS!" Riser looks at his hands. It was only after he looked at them, his hands healed.
"What have you done?!" He shouted.
"You're Immortal because you have powerful regeneration that even just from a head, you can still live. So what if we took your healing capabilities away? Even the gods bleed."
"N–NO! I FORFEIT! YOU CAN HAVE RIAS FOR ALL I CARE!" He was scared. His prided ability can be stopped. The ability that made their clan immortal. The ability that made him arrogant and prideful.
"Relax, they can't hear us inside this barrier. So don't waste your time screaming for help."
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?! MONEY?! WOMEN?! PHENEX TEARS?! I'LL GIVE YOU WHATEVER YOU WANT JUST LET ME FORFEIT!" Riser kneels in front of Kazumi. He knows that he can't win against him. So he begs.
If he tries to blast him with hellfire, his hands will be cut off. He can't escape because the barrier won't let him. He can't destroy the barrier because Kazumi will just cut his hands off.
He knows that pride will not save him.
Kazumi just scoffed.

3rd Person POV
After Kazumi deployed a barrier, trapping himself and Riser inside, Rias and the rest of her peerage arrive.
"Yuuto, care to explain why you didn't stop him?" Rias raised her eyebrow at Kiba who has his hand on his head scratching it.
"I couldn't?" He answered.
But Rias ignored his answer. She was scared, not for Kazumi but Riser. Why? Because Kazumi would do unspeakable things to Riser.
Kazumi had already told her about his immortality. Of how even if he was but a head, he would still live.
She watched Kazumi who was inside the barrier. Explosions would occur because of Riser's Hellfire. And then it happened. Riser's hands were cut off.
He knelt at Kazumi saying things they couldn't hear because of the barrier. Then Rias and her peerage cannot see what's happening inside anymore.
"Kazumi?! Kazumi?! That bastard."
"Let's just wait for him okay?" Akeno calmed her down.

Yuuma POV
We, Itsuki, Asia and I, have been watching the rating game.
For a team with less members than the enemy, they did eliminate them fast.
Is it because they're strong or because of the items Kazumi gave us?
Then there's Nee-san's electric field. Maybe we can increase the area by adding water? But will it weaken the holy effect? How about making the water holy as well?
"Yuuma?" Itsuki asked.
I shook my head and said, "Ah. Sorry, I was thinking about something."
"Is it about Akeno's electric field?" She replied.
"Yeah. I was thinking about how to increase the area without the need to lessen the damage."
"What about water?" Itsuki also thought the same thing huh? We spend a lot of time together after all.
"That's what I thought! But will it lessen the holy effect?"
"Hmmm..." If electricity runs through water, would the water turn into holy water?
"Kazumi-san!" Asia screamed as Kazumi got blasted with hellfire. Asia also knew that Kazumi is immortal but she still worries for him. Rafaela-Onee-san worry as well.
"That definitely burns. You can check him later, Asia." Itsuki reassured her. She really treats her like a sister.
"I will!" Asia pumped her fist.
"Itsuki." I called her. We can no longer see inside the barrier.
"He's definitely beating him up. I still remember when he put to sleep the guy who was ogling me." Ahh... That was a year ago I think?
"When we introduced ourselves?" It was very nostalgic, it was also the day Nee-san came back home.
"Yeah that time. That reminds me, Asia if someone looks at you in a perverted way, tell Onii-chan and I'm sure that someone, won't be able to look at you that way again."
"T–Thank you, I will." Asia replied.
"It's not done yet?" I look at the screen.
"He's definitely sadistically beating him up. Onii-chan and Akeno are like that, sadists." She comments.
"That's true but Nee-san is also a masochist."
"Yeah, when she's with Onii-chan. You too as well." I'm like my sister? I'm not a sadist.
"I'll have you know that only when I'm with Kazumi that's when I become a masochist."
"That's what I said." Did I hear her wrong then?
"Yuuma-san, Itsuki-san, Kazumi-san has come out!" Asia called us.
-Riser-sama's resignation confirmed. Rias-sama has won this game.-
"As expected of Onii-chan."
"It's Kazumi, of course it's no doubt he would win."
"Are they coming back though?"

This feels great. I made him forfeit. This is more humiliating than beating him up and eliminating him.

"Thank you but the person who have done most of the work is Kazumi." Rias said and glared at me.
"It was nothing. Of course I had to give my all for the person I love." I replied.
"Oh you~" Rias elbowed me.
"Ahem." Sirzechs cleared his throat to get our attention, "And thank you as we–"
Sirzechs and my eyes made contact. Without wasting a second, we instantly shook hands.
I can feel it. I can feel a connection between me and him. As if he's a kindred spirit who I've been looking for all along.
"Sis-con?" He asked.
"Sis-con." And I replied.
"My little sister is cute." He said.
"I understand. My little sister is cute too." Rias is cute. Itsuki is cute.
"Nice to meet you, brother-in-law." He smiled. He was this kind yet I threatened him, not directly, but I still did.

"What just happened?" Rias asked.
"I met with my brother-in-law?" I replied. What's there to explain?
"Why are you treating this as if it's normal!!" It is though?
"Haha, let them be Rias, this is one of the few times your brother meets someone like him." An old man with red hair who I assume is Rias' father walked in.

The silence is loud. It's as if I can hear a pin drop... Wait... I actually can...
"Wahahaha, you're rather amusing. Look at Rias, her face is as red as our hair." He chuckled. I then look at Rias who was indeed red.
How can she be so cute? I took out my phone and quickly snapped a picture of her cute face. Another one for my collection. This is SSR grade... Who am I kidding? Every picture of my girlfriends are SSR grade.
Rias pouted at me.

Then Rias hid her face with her hands.
Rias, do yoh think this will stop me?!
*SNAP!*
"Ara ara, good for you Rias, you found someone who'll love you forever." A woman with wonderful assets came in.
"Rias, you didn't tell me you have a beautiful sister.
"That's my mother you idiot!" She smacked my head.
"Your mother?" I looked at Venelana and then Rias, "I can definitely see why."
"What do you mean by that?" Rias asked but I know we both know the answer.

Oh I forgot to update harem members...
I'm going back to school in a few days. I tried to make a chapter daily but I couldn't. I tried to think very hard but I couldn't.
There aren't much to talk about. I'm going to get busy these few days.
